TRAVEL BEAUTY HAUL: London UK Pharmacy Beauty Essentials
Many times when I've travel to the eastern part of the globe, I have had a pretty lengthy layover at the London Heathrow Airport. This airport is known for its duty-free shopping and features tons of luxury brands, but there is nothing like hitting up a tax-free pharmacy beauty aisle. I love bringing the classic, cult-favorite international brands back stateside with me to re-stock my travel toiletry bag and this time I knew I couldn't go home without staples from the UK's Boots Pharmacy. Botanics is a really great green beauty company by Boots and I was excited to score some great product for much less than it costs in the US. I picked up a few basics to help me rehydrate my skin which it is prone to getting super dull and dry during long flights because of the cabin air. All of the products were all super affordable.
It definitely me feel comfortable refreshed for the 'home leg' of my travels. I opted for travel sized goodies so that all of the items would pass security in my carry-on bag.
If you ever find yourself in London (...or stuck at the airport for a layover like I was) and want to try some of London's most loved beauty brands, I definitely recommend picking up a few items from a Boots pharmacy. And definitely do not go home without the Tangle Teezer; it's almost half the price in London and I promise it's the best, most functional thing I own to help maintain the health of my hair on the go.
How I used these London pharmacy products to keep fresh during a long flight:
I washed my face and applied Botanics All Bright Hydrating Day Cream, which I followed up with Botanics All Bright Radiance Balm. I also dampened my hair and detangled it with the Tangle Teezer Compact Styler. I actually swear by this little hair tool and own the Original Styler, so I was thrilled to find the compact version for such a steal. After detangling, I worked Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner through my hair, combing it through using the Tangle Teezer to coat the entire lengths of my hair. It smells amazing! I then put my hair into a braid, leaving the conditioner in for the rest of my travel.
